There are no family History center of the Mormons in Israel. They had to

Subject: Re: Your Question on Hamburg Passenger Lists

The best source of research on passenger lists or for that matter
for any genealogical material is the Family History Library at
the Mormon Church, formally named The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-Day Saints headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah , USA.
Most of their churches have what are called Family History
Centers (FHC) where you can access information and order
microfilm and microfiche. Their records are easily the largest
collection in the world. I have a phone number which may work
from Israel on an International Call, 1-800-240-1126. I think
that a mail address is
Family History Department
50 East Temple Street
Salt Lake City, UT 84150
I would suggest that you look for a FHC in Israel, if not write
for assistance to the address listed above. They have a lot of
research outlines and other printed material that is either free
or cost only pennies. For instance, I have a 4 page pamphlet they
published on the Hamburg Passenger lists that provide helpful
information. In any case, here is the URL for the web page that
provides information on the Hamburg list: This page also has a link for
NARA genealogy.

Happy hunting
