That was the last I knew as well, until I learned about this new way to access. I requested and quickly received a link to my cousin's testimony, good for four weeks.

Again, see the ordering information at https://sfiaccess.usc.edu/ObtainCopies/ .

Last I knew, you cannot watch a complete video testimony online. Only at designated centers.  However, there is useful info at the USC website. The only way to access the videos other than via the designated centers is for a family member to request the video and then they share it with you.

Maybe this is "old news" to some of you, but I was pleased to learn last week that the USC Shoah Foundation -- successor to the Holocaust survivor video project begun by Steven Spielberg in 1994 -- now makes testimonies available online at no charge, via digital links. The video files remain online for four weeks and can be downloaded.

The Foundation also provides testimonies on DVD, in either NTSC or PAL format, for $60 plus shipping.

To search over 50,000 survivor videos in the Foundation's Visual History Archives, go to

For more information on ordering a video, see https://sfiaccess.usc.edu/ObtainCopies/ . This page says that "Requests for testimony copies take approximately four weeks to complete," but I received the video I requested in two days.
