The long and short is this Annie Burge died with her maiden name in 1939.  I found the family in 1900 and 1920 with the surname illegible.  I decided at that point to look for one of the brothers and look for WWI or WWII draft registration card.  That have me too many hints so I looked at 1930 where I found Johnie, a widower living back with his parents and probably two children and most of his siblings.  The surname was visible.  I think most of the family is buried in Nelson County, Kentucky.  The father was Mike/Michael G. Burge and the mother was Lula Mae Burgan Burge.  I find trying to work around an illegible surname that you find a male sibling child and search for him...they usually don't change their surname and have to register for pesky things like the draft...then look for sisters, mothers and daughters.
