Most likely it's Tysmienica -- now Tysmenytsya, Ukraine, about 30 miles north of Kolomyya:

I am trying to identify the towns of origin of my great grandparents who emigrated to the UK from Austria c. 1890.

The Salford district of Manchester maintains a Register of Aliens, which shows what looks like Koloma, Galicia, as the birthplace for my great grandmother, and Tromnitza, Galicia, for my great grandfather.  The documents show Austrian nationality for both of them.

I am attaching images of the relevant excerpts from the register, including a nearby column for ease of deciphering the handwriting in my great grandfather's entry.
Perhaps what looks like "Koloma" is now Kolomyia, formerly known as Kolomea?  But I can't find any town that matches Tromnitza.
