SILBERSZAC, Łódź- Warsaw #poland

Dear JewishGenners:

The May 12, 2022 edition of the Polish newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza carried a legal notice announcing that the Regional Court of Central Warsaw (Sąd Rejonowy dla Warszawy-Śródmieścia), Sixth Civil Division, is seeking, on behalf of the State Treasury as represented by the Mayor of Łódź and the court-assigned curator for the individual named below, is seeking any heirs of:

Jakub SILBERSZAC, who was declared deceased on January 1, 1947 and whose last known address was on ul. Nalewki in Warsaw.  [Given the suspect January 1st death date and the fact that Nalewki Street was razed to the ground along with the Warsaw ghetto years before 1947, this information is rather dubious.]

Jakub SILBERSZAC held a 140/12600 share (!) of a property located at the corner of ul. Piotrkowska 45 and ul. Zielona 1/3 in the city of Łódź.  The property was formerly designated as “dz. ew. nr 393” and is now registered with the Regional Court of Central Łódź (Sąd Rejonowy dla Łodzi-Śródmieścia) as KW LD1M/00007569/9.

Any heirs of Mr. SILBERSZAC or those with information about such heirs is requested to contact the Warsaw Court within three months of the notice’s publication, citing Docket No. VI Ns 658/21.
