Camp Birchwood, West Goshen Connecticut.  1957-1963, 65.    Girls and Boys.  Some of the best days of my youth.  It was not advertised as a Jewish camp, I don't think.  Owned by the Greenberg family.  The Jewish part was that we had Friday night services, sang Adon Olam, and Jack Levins (boys head counselor) read us Chelm stories, Sholem Aleichem.  Almost everyone was Jewish, from New York with some from New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts.  Sadly, the camp shut down but there are still remnants on the site.  I couldn't wait to go at the beginning of each summer and cried when it was time to go home.  A very special place and very special time.   Judy Hoffman, Montgomery MA
