The award-winning documentary "Three Minutes—A Lengthening" will open in theaters around the U.S. over the next few weeks.  

 

“Three minutes of footage, shot by David Kurtz in 1938, are the only moving images remaining of the Jewish inhabitants of Nasielsk, Poland before the Holocaust. THREE MINUTES: A LENGTHENING explores the human stories hidden within the celluloid.”

 

Narrated by Academy Award® nominee Helena Bonham Carter, co-produced by Academy Award® winner Steve McQueen.

 

The official website includes a link to the film trailer and lists the cities currently scheduled, including: New York; Los Angeles; Seattle; Houston; Denver; Tampa; Montclair, NJ; and Philadelphia. Also: Miami, Ft. Worth, and Birmingham, AL. Other venues are being added, so check back if you don't see a city near you.
