from Jan Braunholz:

Hi geners, on the way back from Bialystok to Berlin, I was in the town of my grand-grand mothers father (Julie Braunholz ,nee Kroll) the first time. it´s near Poznan/Wronki called Stajkowo (Bismarckhöhe in the Prussian time).
The other Town was Piotrowo (no cemetery but a evangelic church build in timberframe) I asked around where is the cemetery and the nice guys from a Sklep Shop were happy to help me and brought me to a ´forgotten german cemetery ´on a little hill, which looked like a jungle. I found cristian headstones with german letters from the time that this region belongs to Prussia(1815 -1920), called Provinz Posen . But I looked further on and I found also a jewish grave +matzevoth (like a tree)
and after visiting the cemetery there was also a zvi and we looked a minute or so in our eyes...fantastic experience ,
nice shabbes !
