Several trees have mistakenly listed this Mordecai Susskind ben Meir (b. c. 1370) as a son of Meir of Rothenburg. Actually, he was a fifth-generation descendant of R. Meir. Susskind's father was also named Meir ben Baruch; hence the confusion.
Do the math and you'll see it makes sense. Meir of Rothenburg was born c. 1215; Susskind ben Meir was born c. 1370.
