According to Susan Weinberg in her IAJGS 2022 Conference lecture on immigration, in 1907 the US Government restricted entrance of people with physical and mental defects and also anyone with tuberculosis. They also required that a child either travel with an adult or have one waiting for him/her upon arrival. Is there a Special Inquiry record for your people?
