has anybody ever come across Klein Bubna or Bubny in Czech?
Until 1884 it was an independent town/village and then became a part of
Today Prague Holesevice-Bubny is Prague VII.
My gggrandfather Josef Lang was born there in 1802.
According to Jiri Fiedler's "Jewish Sights of Bohemia and Moravia" there
existed a prayer hall in Bubny from the mid 19th century and a synagoge
from the late 19th century which today is used as a store-house.
I have not been able to find birth records for Josef Lang in the Prague
Where could I find more information about Bubny and Josef Lang's
