The commercial register (Handelsregister) may have a file on the factory with documents concerning its creation and dissolution. (BTW, I don't think the government could simply confiscate a business. It seems more likely that it went bankcrupt during the economic crisis of the early 1920s.) You can consult the file in person at Amtsgericht Charlottenburg, Hardenbergstr. 31, 10623 Berlin, Room 121. To make an appointment, fill in the contact form (link on the web page https://www.berlin.de/gerichte/amtsgericht-charlottenburg/das-gericht/zustaendigkeiten/registergericht/einsicht-in-registerakten/einsicht-in-registerakten-355742.php), giving the name of the business and the time period when it existed.
