I was the one who posted the name of Markus Dusinszky, age 42, and his family >from Felso Dios. The village which is located about 40 km northeast of Bratislava is now known as Horne Oresany. According to the 1848 Census, Markus was born in Vagujhely now Nove Mesto nad Vahom (the Germans called it Neustadt an der Waag). His wife, age 36, and six children were born in Felso Dios. There was also another Dusinszky, Mihal age 75, listed separately under Felso Dios but apparently related to Markus. Mihal was born in Nadas (Trstin). While searching through the 1828 census, I recall seeing a Salamon Dusinszky living in Szomolany (Smolonice), a town that is just north of Felso Dios. It appears that at least 90 percent of Dusinszkys (with spelling variations) in Greater Hungary were living in Pozsony County in 1891. Visit the Radix website at http://www.bogardi.com/gen/g079.shtml. As for the town of IZSNYETE, it is located in the former Munkacsi district of Bereg County. Today, the town is called Zsnyatino, Ukraine and is located about 12 km southwest of Miskolc. Dolph Klein Chapel Hill, NC, USA
