I have looked thru LDS films which list AustroHungarian passports. The
films are chronlogical and include all religions. I believe they list the
place of residence.

Indexing this could be a project for Jewish Gen for year 2050, perhaps?

Has anyone had success finding pre-WWI passport applications issued
the Austro-Hungarian government? I recall my father saying that he
an uncle who had a rubber plantation in the East Indies. I've had
luck so far finding out what happened to any of my grandfather's
siblings who were born in Szobrancz, Ung megye in the latter part of

the 19th century. Hoping that they might have applied for passports
some point.
