I contacted them by email. Go to http://www.bparchiv.hu/ then click on the UK flag - if you don't understand Hungarian - the email link is there: bfl@... I received a response >from Bea Baros - her email is barosb@... The first email was detailed about the rules for acquiring documents from the archives. It took a couple of emails to explain what I wanted. I wanted a birth record and had gotten the family address >from the 1900 city directory at http://www.bparchiv.hu/cgi-bin/lakas/lakas.pl The family address and the birth date were key for them to retrieve records= . There are about 15 documents that I would like to obtain, =and emailing the archivist in English for the process and cost hasn't been ve=ry successful.
