Re: Fw: Budapest Wartime Death Records #hungary

are these records organized or indexed, and is there any way of searching them
without flying to budapest and visiting the city archives?

Some of you may already be aware of this, but when I was at the Budapest Ci=
ty Archives yesterday, I discovered that hundreds of people (predominantly =
Jewish, by the names) who died during the war years (mainly 1944 and 1945) =
have their deaths recorded in the 1950 and 1951 death records of District V=
(regardless of where the death actually occurred).

Since District V is the center city district, this may represent some kind
of centralized process (?)

There may be records to be found under other years as well, but these are
the two I looked at yesterday.
