Hello,

Does anyone know of the town of Herl'any in Slovakia? I am trying to
research my ggg-grandmother Betti Klein SCHON who was born there in
1851 and died in Kosice, about 20 miles west, in 1917. I cannot find
any record of Herl'any in JewishGen. Apparently, it is well-known for
a cold water geyser: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Her%C4%BEany

Moderator: Herlany, Slovakia was previously Herlein in the Fuzer district of Abauj-Torna county. The Jewish
community was too small for Herlein to be included in JewishGen's Communities Database (only 10 Jewish
