Directories for Kassa / Kosice for 1891-1898 and 1900, Kassai Kalauz
Czimtara and Kassai Kalauz Czim-Naptar, are now full-text searchable
at http://genealogyindexer.org. They also include some
administrative, business, and organizational listings >from outside
Kassa, elsewhere in Abauj-Torna County. Search results link to scans
of the corresponding pages on the Cassovia Digitalis website
(http://cassovia-digitalis.eu).

Thanks to Andras Hirschler for posting about the availability of these
directories. If you know of any other online scanned sources that
should be made searchable, or if you have physical copies that you are
willing to scan or have scanned, please contact me.

Searches at http://genealogyindexer.org include the Kassa directories
and all 1600 other sources by default. To limit your results
geographically, change the "Any Place" option below the search box to
Hungary, Hungary > Abauj-Torna County, Slovakia, or Slovakia > Kosice.

In the list of search results, source titles are links to the scanned
pages on the Cassovia Digitalis website. Those images should be
zoomed in sufficiently to be legible, but might not display the entire
page on your screen. You can change the part of an image that is
visible by clicking on it with your mouse and dragging it up or down
while still holding the mouse button. Be careful about inadvertently
dragging to the left or right, though, as that will "turn the page" in
the Cassovia Digitalis display system and jump to the next or previous
image.
