Often times I am asked if I am related to the Korban Nesanel (a commentary on the Talmud) and I am quick to answer no because i believe the korban nesanel was a Levi (Levite) whereas i am not a levi. I do find it fascinating that the hebrew letters spelling my surname WEILL are similar to those of Levi. Are there research tools or resources to determine if perhaps my ancestors going back several generations were in fact leviyim? Your thoughts are appreciated. Thank you.
