Yes, the London Post Office did issue street directories and one
section was in street order, so that one could look up Morgan Street,
for example. However, most of the entries are commercial, not
residential. There is also an A-Z listing by last name.

The Mormons have microfilmed many of these Post Office, or "Kelly"
directories, so I would suggest that you order it >from your nearest
Family History Center and then you can become more familiar with
these directories.
