United Synagogue Seatholders lists for the years 1885, 1899, 1910 and 1933 are in the Library of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Great Britain.(JGSGB). - at present open to members only. They are part of an annual series prepared by the United Synagogue. A larger collection of these lists is held at the London Metropolitan Archives (LMA) Books of Seatholders of United Synagogue held at LMA Closed to the public at time of writing (9/10/02) 1892 1894 1897 1898 1900 1901-1915 yearly 1918 1920 1922 1923 1929 1931 1933 1937 1939 Book listing ? all synagogue membership in England & Wales 1940 -------------------------------------------------------- I am writing to the LMA to see if access is now possible.
