My mother, Clara (Kayla) Simon (1900-1937) came to the US >from Baranovka about 1923. Her mother's maiden name was WEINBERG. She was "sponsored" in the US by relatives in Springfield ,MA named KATZ. She lived in Boston, MA with other unknown relatives for about a year until she married my father. Does anyone out there relate to this story?
