While looking through the Passenger Arrival Index for my ggrandfather LOUIS
KELLNER, I came upon LIBER KELLNER. Does anyone have any information about
the translation of the Hebrew name Liber? Could it be Louis?
Also, on my grandfather's marriage license to my grandmother, he states that
his mother's name is Gittle Subman. But on his death certificate he states
Gertrude Raichik. I know Gittle is Gertrude but I'm confused about Raichik?
Unless maybe it translate to Rachel for a middle name? Any suggestions and
information is always appreciated.
