I have an old photograph that was published in the "Forward" of January 26,
1990. The caption reads: HONORING THE MEMORY OF A FAMOUS LEADER OF THE
JEWISH WORKING MASSES - Some of the people who gathered at Mt. Carmel
Cemetary in Brooklyn, N. Y., Sunday, January 19 to commemorate the 7th
anniversary of the death of Vladimir MEDEM, the beloved Bundist leader. In
the center are: H. GILISHINSKY, Jacob PAT (representatives of the Rumanian
and Polish "Bund", respectively) and R. ABRAMOVITCH (right), representative
of the Russian "Bund", who laid wreaths of the grave.
If these names or the event are meaningful to anyone out there, I would be
happy to scan the photo and e-mail you the file or snail-mail a printout.
