Yesterday's New York Times (September 17) contained an article on the
Beigel Family of Crakow. They were well known bakers in Crakow, Poland
and the surviving members of the family emigrated to the USA after the
Shoah and continue to be very successful in this profession. The
article contains some memories of life in Crakow during the war.
