There is an odd annotation on a number of birth records (at least in the
1840s) >from Tarnow. In one of the far right columns (usually either the
mother's name or godparent's name), there are annotations such as "m.
27/9906" (sometimes the "m" word is scribbled out, but I can't identify
the language or letters--it appears to be two separate words) They
appear to have been annotated well after the initial records of birth.
I am guessing that it is a record either of emigration or death. I
believe they represent dates (the example above would be 27 September
