"Last Walk in Naryshkin Park" is a family and historical memoir of Shavel Lithuania. It is written by Rose Zwi, a South African now living in Sydney. Her father's family came >from Shavel and she went back in the early 90s to research the town and write her moving chronicle.
It is published by Spinifex Press, Melbourne Australia in either 1996 or 97. I manage a bookshop in Sydney and Rose did a wonderful reading for us.
