I am in possession of a Ketuba >from a family member & am puzzled by the
letters Mem hey vav (with the abbreviation symbol above the hey) which are
written & precedes the groom's name. My Hebrew dictionaries are not very
good with abbreviations, & this abbreviation does not appear on the website
from Princeton Univ. (I don't have the exact web address handy). Can anyonetell me what they might signify?
