Mass graves at the Jewish cemetery at Ulica Towarowa mark the spot where 20 thousand people were deported during the night of August 16 and 17, 1942. In addition, patients of the Jewish Hospital and home for the elderly, about 1,000 in all were killed on the spot. I am sure some of my family are buried there. If anyone has any info on the cemetery, etc., I would appreciate a response.
Ulica Towarowa means "Merchant Street" in Polish. To what particular town reference of Towarowa Street is made?
