To the Moderator (Whoever you may be!!) Thanks for the fabulous help in
sending me to the ShtetlSeeker. It not only located the town I was
seeking, it corrected my guesspelling and nailed the area! I was told my
great grandfather was the town's "postmaster" in czarist days -- which
meant he furnished the droshkies and horses for the tax man when he came
to town to collect! Not very many Jews had positions like that, I
understand. But it kept the cossacks at bay. Thanks again.
