Saul Goldstone <sgoldsto@...>
A woman who called herself Dora Goldstone came to the United States on the
S.S. Commonwealth sailing >from Liverpool, England and arrived at the
port of Boston on September 18, 1903.
She was travelling with my grandparents and their children. I know that
there was no such person as "Dora Goldstone".
I have since learned that her real name was "Dora Gross", and that she was a
friend of my grandmother's. According to the ship's manifest, she was 14
years old, and her last place of residence was Manchester.
Does anyone recognize who this person was?
