Participants at the 19th Annual Conference on Jewish Genealogy, August 8-13,
1999 (at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in NYC) will have an outstanding array of
programs to choose from. Those who are deficient in Hebrew, Yiddish, Polish
or Russian will find help here. The program includes both Hebrew and Yiddish
ulpans (language classes) for genealogists given by Rose Lerer Cohen of
Israel. In addition, there will be a lecture given by Judith Frazin on
translating 19th century Polish language documents. Jonathan Shea of the
Polish Genealogical Society will teach us how to translate Russian language
documents >from Poland. And there is much, much more...

A copy of the Conference registration application can be copied directly from
the web site. The list of lectures (now over 100) is being updated weekly.
The conference will be held at the Mariott Marquis Hotel, located in the heart
of revitalized Times Square -- accessible to all archives, libraries and
resources for genealogical research. Provide the Conference information when
you make your reservations with the hotel and airlines in order to receive the
special rates for attendees.

See you this summer!
