I am attempting to trace a family of Levines who lived in Winnipeg after
WWII and who came >from the agricultural colony of Izraelovka in Kherson,
Ukraine.
The older man who migrated >from there was born in the 1870's and knew my
ggparents who were born in the 1880's. I am looking for his descendants
who were in contact with my family in the late 40's and had information
about the shtetl. Does anyone have contacts in the Jewish community
there? I need local knowledge about Jewish organizations that might help.
