Does anyone know if there are records for any of the years 1850 to 1917

I would be interested in records of any kind ---- Rabbinical metrical
books, town lists of residents, revision lists, administrative and court
records, etc. If available, how may I get copies of these records and
what is the cost?

See "Some Archival Sources for Ukrainian-Jewish Genealogy", by Aleksander
Kronick and Sallyann Amdur Sack. (Teaneck, NJ: Avotaynu, Inc., 1997).96 pp.
ISBN 0-886223-05-X. This book contains inventories of Jewish records of
over 300 Ukrainian towns, found in 12 archives, mainly Kiev, Lviv, Warsaw
and Zhitomir.
