Dear Jewish Genner's:
I am trying to find almost the impossible. But since Jewish Gen enabled me
to find another needle in the haystack and find a branch of the family
which neither side knew of I am again trying for the impossible!
My maternal grandmother, Pess SCHLANG/SCHLEUNG ( maiden name) and her
sister Rochel SCHLANG/SCHLEUNG immigrated in September 1898 >from Zaluschin

sisters, to the best of our knowledge, of those who were still alive by

SCHLANG/SCHLEUNG were married, but don't know their married names.

One was killed as a fighter pilot in the 1948 war for independence the
other was killed in an automobile accident in Israel in the late 1940's or
Does anyone know how I might locate in Israel an organization that might
know of these two persons? Is there a society of Sochaczew residents that
might know of these people? Their names and whether they had any children
that might also have survived the Holocaust? And if they might still be
I don't have access to a Sochaczew Yizkor book, nor do I read Hebrew if I
had access to it that might tell of the descendents of the
