I am afraid that this is not possible.

This tiny dorp has been only named Pustary after Poland took over the
administration of the Eastern Pomerania in 1945.

There is a good chance that the town of inquiry is really Pustary located at

any ideas. The Jewish girls familly lived in the town, and had a small store.

Genealogy programme advice #general

Gary Luke <gary@...>

I would like advice about any genealogy programmes to suit a specific
research purpose. Instead of researching the links within a family tree I
want to research connections across a community where most are not related
as family. There are relationships in business ventures, in living for a
period in the same neighborhood, as conflicting parties in court cases, in
arriving on the same ship, and a few are indirectly related by cousin
marrying an uncle or similar. For quite a few in the community there are
multiple types of relationships.

I have been using Generations for a number of years. It is possible to map
and report these types of relationships by using a single source reference
for the two or more in a connection, but it's a bit limited for the
necessary analysis because these reports would only show a single type of
relationship on each report.

It might need a complex relational database. Maybe it's beyond the scope of
genealogy programmes.

Thanks for any hints?

Gary

David/Dave FALB-Seeking Any And All Information On Him And Family #general

sacredsisters3@aol.com <sacredsisters3@...>

Hello To All

Hi I am seeking help in tracing the whereabouts of David FALB. He was
sister to Rachel(Falb)Koenig. His wife was Rose Weinsoft. All I know is
that he was born in austria about 1888-89. His father was Wolf FALB who
came over about 1890 and died in march of 1897. His mother was
Ethel(SUMMERFIELD)FALB.

I would also love to know what happened to the mother since I am unable
to trace her. I have david's marriage record, but other then the names
it provided me I am still at a dead end. I also have an article from
late june of 1949 that goes into detail about my great-aunt Ruth
KOENIG's wedding and how he as her uncle was going to walk her down the
isle along with her mother since the father Nathan KOENIG was deceased.

So, I know that he was still alive in 1949, but thats it. I looked in
the social scurity death index and he is not listed. He would have
lived in new york, possibly manhattan or brooklyn. I also think I may
have found him on a 1900 census of manhattan new york with his sister,
but its a bit unclear as to the names listed.

First off they spelled his name as FARRB, Dave. Also they spelled his
sister's name as Rasher/racher. The handwriting is very bad and also
they scribbled over the names which makes it even harder for me to
figure out. Also there are other names listed including parents names,
but I think the last name is different and I can't make it out. I
believe that maybe He and his sister were taken in or adopted by
another family.

I would love another pair of eyes to look at the census for him and
decipher who the other names are including the parents listed with him.
You have to go to [name of commercial site removed by Moderator] to view it.
Its roll #1091-Manhattan Boro-ED(222)-page 215(11B)-1900 New York census.

Any help and advice is appreciated.

Morris GEWIRTZMAN - Seeking Any And All Information on Him #general

sacredsisters3@aol.com <sacredsisters3@...>

Hello To All

I am trying to figure out how this gentleman ties in with my MENDELSON
ancestors. On the 1930 census of Emma & Samuel(brother to
Anna(MENDELSON)RAKOFF)Mendelson there is writing scribbled over their
names stating(see page #7 line 50 1 brother age 28).

When I proceed to that page is lists a Morris GEWIRTZMAN living with
them. He was born about 1902 and at that time was a chauffeur.
According to the census he came over about 1923 and was >from Poland,
but I think most likely he was >from Russia, because my mendelson
ancestors were >from Russia.

I looked in the social security index and there is a date of death of
october 1977 for a Morris Gewirtzman born about 1902. His last
residence at time of death Brooklyn, Kings. I am aslo seeking help in
locating an obit in the new york times if there was one placed.

I really need to solve this puzzle to see where this person ties in.
Any and all help and advice is appreciated.

I have received a death certificate for a woman who I believe was my
great-grandmother, who died in Port Chester, NY, in 1917. The name of the
cemetery seems to start with "Glenwil." I can't read the rest. I haven't
found a cemetery with a name like that within 25 miles of Port Chester, and
I am wondering if this is an older name for a cemetery that has since been
given a new name. Does anyone recognize this cemetery and know its current
name? I am trying to get further information to verify this person's
identity. Thank you.
