Jumping matches? #dna

Gasimoda

Hi DNAsigers,

I am confused. I made a DNA testing with MyHeritage and got a match with a
woman we can call Anna. But there is no match between Anna and a son of mine
who has also been tested. Maybe his DNA >from me didn't contain DNA that I
share with Anna.

Anna's sons Adrian and Abel has also been tested. There is no match between
me and any of them but between them and my tested son.

How come?

Best regards
Daniel Weinberger

Request for Help--Hebrew Name Research #general

Sheldon Dan <sheldan1955@...>

My family's genealogist had gotten in touch with some relatives in Australia and
I have been in touch with them regarding more details about their family.

The patriarch of the family was Itchak Aizik DEN, who was born in 1847 in Upynas,
Lithuania, and died in 1925 in Taurage, Lithuania. Itchak's son Yankel (Jacob),
who was born in 1891 in Taurage and died in 1976 in Sydney, Australia, had three
children. Chaim Ari DEN, born in 1923 in Taurage and died in 2012 in Sydney, was
the cousin the genealogist first located. He had one brother, Dov Yosef (Berel
Yoske), who died in Siberia during internment in the gulag during World War II,
and one sister, Asia (Essy) DENAJTE (the spelling refers to the Lithuanian
designation of females), who was born in 1935 in Taurage and died in 2016 in
Sydney.

The descendants of Chaim Ari would like to organize a headstone for Essy's
grave, but they do not know her Hebrew name. Would anyone be able to help?
