Trying to contact Weber descendants in Israel of the Belz Dynasty #general

Neil@...

The Oldest son of the first Belzer Rebbe, Shalom Rokeach was Rav
Eleazar Rokeah and he had a daughter, Cywia, who married Solomon
(Shlomo) Judah Weber. Most of the Weber family perished but a son of
Cywia was the father of Malka Salpeter of Petach Tikva who posted
Pages of Testimony for the family in 1956 as did Chaim Weber, son of
Yakov Yitzchak, son of Cywia, who lived in Netanya and also posted
Pages of Testimony in 1956.

Descendants of Rabbi DAVID of Novarodok-GOLNICK family #general

Yonatan Ben-Ari

Several years ago while researching my possible relationship to a
Rabbi DAVID of Nvarodok, who was the Rav of the community during the
19th cent. and wrote amongst other "Galia Masechet", I was contacted
by an Arthur GOLNICK who was compiling a family tree of the above Rabbi.

I understand that he no longer is active in this matter and I would be
happy to be in contact with other of his family who are dealing with the tree.

TIA

Yoni Ben-Ari, Jerusalem

Translation of two stones from Hebrew? #general

I would be grateful for help in translating >from Hebrew two stones (husband and
wife). The stones are in Boskovice, Czechia, and about 120 years old.

I only need a basic translation of information of genealogical interest. I took
good resolution photos >from a variety of angles, so have collected them in a Google
Photos album rather than on ViewMate. https://photos.app.goo.gl/PzgkgLhqy5XVbtFx6

Unfortunately, the album does jumble together images of the two
stones. Sorry about that!

Thanks!

I've posted a vital record in Russian for which I need a translation. This is the
death record for the person I believe is my gr-gr-grandfather. It is on ViewMate at
the following address:
http://www.jewishgen.org/viewmate/viewmateview.asp?key=VM73210

Any help you could give would be greatly appreciative. I am particularly
interested in the words that don't seem to be part of the regular record.

Thank you very much,

Seeking Zava PILVINSKI; Schepse GOLDSHMIED (GOLDSHMIDT) from Lithuania #general

Susan Goldsmith

Dear SIG,

I am hoping to find Zava PILVINSKI, b. 1922 in Lithuania who was sent to Tashkent
in February 1942. How can I try to find her, if she survived, or her family?

Also, I am trying to find Schepse GOLDSCHMIED(as it was spelled in the Dachau
Records) b. March 1, 1927 in Kaunas who was liberated >from Dachau.

I don't have names of their parents or other relatives. Are there ways to search
in Russian or other records?

Thank you,
