Prague directories #austria-czech

gluckpast@...

I am seeking information on my great-uncle Jeno Gluck and the kosher
restaurant he supposedly owned and operated in Prague around 1937-39.
Can anyone please tell me if there are trade or similar directories in
which I might find his name and, if so, how these can be accessed?

Dear all
I have now been taught where to find the Czech links on
http://kehilalinks.jewishgen.org/W_Europe.html I admit being IT-amhorec.
This however leads me to next question. It seems that the Czech Jewish
communities are spread over several links namely:

http://kehilalinks.jewishgen.org/W_Europe.html

http://www.jewishgen.org/austriaczech/gemeinde.htm

http://www.jewishgen.org/yizkor/bohemia/bohemia.html

To that are coming ongoing projects on GENI and other different sites
It seems to me a waste of time of effort to seek so many databases and lot
of information gets probably lost. Could somebody with relevant know how
collect these databases to one? - at least those on JewishGen?

Best regards
Jan O. Hellmann/DK

Dear Friends

As is known in World War I , recruited many Jews , and Jews fought for both
sides , as a was young I heard all kinds of stories of heroism , of the
Auer Jewish brother the Children of Abraham , Isaac and Jacob , the Holy
Fathers , without any choice, and fear God forbid , have to kill their
fellow Jews who are on the enemy, they shot themselves
Although my grandfather was born Nasaud Romania, recruited >from city
Bratislava in Slovakia , alongside Franz Josef , one day in 1916, an
envelope arrived home with a picture that was in the pocket >from my
grandfather , and behind it was written, Zvi Yekutiel (carol) Gewirtz
soldier was killed by a bullet. ,
I searched and have not found any document or records , death certificate ,I
wish asking for help >from members here may have knowledge someone direct me
to search correctly and getting correct information
