Browsing through JG I noticed a couple of very interesting articles by Alexander
Sharon. He correctly traced my families occupation as tailors in Turka on the
Stryj. He also mentioned a certain "Robert Strumwasser" How can I get in contact
with him or R Strumwasser?
Many thanks

Help Needed with Tillie GOLDEN/PARISER #general

Eva Heindl

Dear Fellow Genners,

once again I have to ask for your help and advice. In my search for my family
PARISER we came upon the name Tillie Golden whose parents had the same surnames as
my grandfather. This records should be in Los Angeles and I am sitting in Vienna
Austria. This we found
Tillie GOLDEN born 09/12/1896 Mothers name FIENGOLD (should be FEINGOLD)Fathers
name PARISER place of residence/death Los Angeles on the 04/03/1983 SSN
071-20-8415
I would be interested in the following:
where was Tillie Golden born?
where were her parents born ?
first name of her parents ?
Immigrated when, >from which country ?
My greatgrandparents FEINGOLD/PARISER were born in Brody/Galicia and lived in
Vienna/Austria
Anyone out there who can help me with this??? PLEASE !
I also would like to take the opportunity to thank all fellow genners >from the
jewishgen discussion group for their help and feedback in my search for Annie and
Gertrude PARISER.
Special thanks go to David Kravitz which supplied me with the names of all the
PARISER in the UK Thank you to Ramon Pop >from the Netherlands who found my
Greatgrandmother Susanne PARISER on the Dutch War Victims list( sadly enough she
died on the 01.02.1943 near Auschwitz) and is looking up some other records in
Holland for me. A big thank you to Celia Male who put me in touch with Dr. Libisch
in Vienna. Both have been of tremendious help and very, very supportive. Celia
Male and Dr. Libisch just fill me with information and leads to follow that my
head spins and I admire them very much for their great knowledge and help.
Thank you all.
Best wishes
Eva Heindl

My question is : when was Losice officially declared a town ?
On May 10, 1505, King Aleksander Jagiellonczyk has granted in Radom, town
priviliges to Losice, based on the Magdeburg laws

Bavarian Matrikel CD #germany

corys@...

Both Susan Edel and Gerhard Jochem have provided very useful information about
the CD containing the Jewish Registers for Middle Franconia. According to the
web site of the organization that produces the CD ( www.gf-franken.de ), the
cost is 15 euros plus package and postage charges.

They ask for payment in advance. I can get euros here in the U.S., but do not
know how much to send because the package and postage charges are not specified.
Does anyone know what would be a reasonable amount to include for package and
postage to the U.S.?

***Or would any GerSiggers in the Nuernberg area be able to find out?***

The organization's web site says they are not able to respond to email inquiries.
Thanks very much for any help or suggestions you can provide.
