Proving Jewish first name variation - Yocha / Yocheved #lithuania

Hello,

My grandmother was born Yocha Choner in Panevezys but used the name
Yocheved when she came to Israel. We have Lithuanian documents for her
under the name Yocha and Israeli documents under the name Yocheved. We
are struggling to prove to the Lithuanian authorities that she is the
same person. Has anyone here come across anything we could use to
prove Yocha and Yocheved are interchangeable as far as Jewish names
are concerned?

A rare work-in-progress map now on the Gesher Galicia Map Room reveals
the meticulous effort required of the Austrian Empire's land
surveyors; it's a complete cadastral map map of Borki Male (Mali
Birky), about 25km north of Husiatyn near the eastern border of
Galicia:

The map carries a date of 1828, when the first survey of the village
was made, but the lithographed sheets are actually based on an 1860
field update. Then in 1877 those sheets were cut into quarters and
carried out into the village again, for a third survey and update; the
surveyor carried the paper sheets, a small notebook, and a red pen,
which he used to make hand-written notations directly on the earlier
map as he worked. Building and parcel numbers are hand-written all
over the map, and some landowner names are recorded as well.

To simplify the use of this map, we've assembled the 43 separate
quarter-sheets into a single zoomable map, preserving the map's full
detail while making it manageable in a browser. If we had tried to
assemble a paper version of the map >from the original sheets, it would
have stretched over 4m (13 feet) end to end!

The original paper map set is preserved by the Central State
Historical Archives of Ukraine in Lviv (TsDIAL):

Gestapo files and b) if so, to where and to whom does one apply? My

I am doing research on the Polish Catholic man who saved the old
Jewish cemetery in Warta (Yiddish: Dvort), Poland.

Part of the story includes the murder of two Jewish men, Mr. MOSZE
SZAJNIK (or SZAJNIAK) and Mr. ROZENWALD (the headstone says MEIR LAUB,
but it could actually be MORDECHAI), in December 1945. It was this
double murder that ended the Jewish community of this town. I would
like to learn more about these two men.
