My Introduction: From John Michael Cluskey and Sheila Marie Tevara #general

Sheila <s.tevara@...>

from John Michael Cluskey and Sheila Marie Tevara
Hello,

My name is Sheila and I am a Newbie to Genealogical Research.
I will be researching the surnames:

CLUSKEY
FITZGERALD
AKENS
DAVIS

Anyone that is currently researching any of these names please
feel free to send me and the list an email. Also, any hints or tips
you would like to give me would be greatly appreciated.

I will be relying on the "net" a great deal as the cost of
petrol here in England is outrageous.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to joining the search
with all of you.

Cheers!

Sheila

Looking for Belarus Town #general

Diane Frankel <dlfrankel@...>

Dear JGenners,

I have a manifest in which the birth town is listed and it looks like
"Loslawsky".
I know that it has to be in Minsk Gubernia and it can't be far >from Uzlany,

The D-M soundex is 848745., according to the spelling above. I can't find
the town.

Any suggestions?

Munkacs search #hungary

Floyd Knight <knigh002@...>

Hello.

I am searching for:

Reisman in Munkacs and Barkaszo, a village about 10 km
outside Munkacs. Herschel Reisman moved to Munkacs in early
1900 >from Barkaszo. He owned property and a vineyard in the
Munkacs area. Two of his children remained in Munkacs,
Meyer and Giza, who married Sam Handelsmann and had two
sons.

Berkowitz in Munkacs. I have recently been told that the
maiden name of Herschel Reisman's wife, Esther, was
Berkowitz. I don't know, if she was >from Munkacs and would
like to find out any connection to the Berkowitz' >from the
area.

I would appreciate finding out any information or stories
that even slightly relate to these people, families, or to
Barkaszo.

Thank you,
