If you will look on my website, which I think you know, you will see a
Binyamin Jerozolimski (a much more likely spelling), b. about 1890, d. about
1943 (probably in the Shoah). He is married to a Lawski woman, so you may
know about him already. I do not know if he is >from Grajewo, but it would
certainly be reasonable, as this is a Lomza Gubernia family.

There is also a Gitla Jerozolimska, born about 70 years before Binyamin and
married to a Rokita. I have no idea if the two are related, but again, it's
reasonable.

Look in the Main database on my site. Please let me know if you think there
might be a connection. I'd be delighted if I could draw a better bead on
these people, and find some of their connections.

NYC Archives-Fee increase #general

Barbara Mannlein <bsmannlein@...>

Be warned that on November 12th the NYC Archives increased their fee
schedule for copies of marriage certificates by 66 2/3 percent!

And to rub salt into the wound, some clerks are returning requests sent in
before that date!

On Nov 8, I mailed 11 requests for copies of marriage certificates to the
Archives. I sent the requisite $6.00 for each. I was sent only 6
certificates. The other requests were *returned* to me requesting payment of
$10.00 each. My $6.00 payments should have been honored as they were
submitted before the fees were raised 66 2/3 percent
