Looking for ships manifests into the UK #general

Jacqueline DAVIS <jdavis318@...>

Good afternoon genners

There seems to be no records in the UK of ships manifests into the UK, but
would it be possible to find my great grandparents who left Lithuania around
1903, on a manifest out of Hamburg then getting off the ship in the UK for
some reason, and not going on to the US.

I have no idea of the name of the ship, or the actual date they left
Lithuania.

If anyone can tell me how to go about searching it will be very much
appreciated.

KROCHMAL family question(s) #galicia

Steve Jaron

Hi,

Last year I introduced myself as a lurker on this board as I have
nothing to contribute but I do have questions. In regards to
Krochmal I am trying to find my connection to Nachman
Krochmal. I have a theory as to why one Krochmal family expert
I spoke with doesn't know anything about my 4th great
grandfather Tsvi Aryeh/Hirsch Leib (b. abt 1837 in Tarnopol to
Pessie Goldbrum) but I will save that for another time.

I was wondering if anyone of you out there knows the following
about the descendants of Nachman Krochmal:

Did Joseph Krochmal have any children?
Did Abraham have any other children than Anna?
What about Nachman's siblings or cousins? Did any of them
end up in Tarnopol?
What about the Sirkus family >from Zloczow? I have heard >from
various older cousins that they married into the Krochmal
family more than once.

If anyone could be of any help or point me in the right direction
it would be greatly appreciated.

Searching for Amrech, Liebling and Weisbrod from Jazlowiec #galicia

Evelyn Filippi

Hi everybody,

I am searching for the Abraham AMRECH family >from Jazlowiec,
Buchacz, Borszczow and Vienna. Several members of my LIEBLING and
WEISBROD family married into that family.

Every so often people have sent me small trees and I save everything.
I don't know how I missed it but one tree had a page 2 and had family
that directly connects and I don't have the email.

Hi, thank you for the few responses I got [to my INTRO message].
I was able to find my GG Grandfather Isaac ZEITLIN in the Berlin directories.

It was suggested that I look for a marriage certificate. How do I go about
doing this? Thanks,

if my memory serves me well;

Klillat Yofe by R' C N Dembitzer
also, see Aderes Eliyahu (R' M Issereles & R' E Loanz - Zohar - Machon
Shaarei Ziv, Yerushalayim) - the info is grossly inaccurate, as the
author of the preface has melded the 2 R' Eliyahus, however the
sources are useful. See also the intro to Rinas Dodim (R' Eliyahu
Loanz on Shir HaShirim), Beitar - his info is also very useful.
I believe R Shlomo Sprecher had an article on R' E B"S as well (Yeshurun)

Does anybody know information, or where can I check, the ancestry
