Frauenkirschen Record for Hanna Unger #austria-czech

Dennis Wulkan

Seeking information, specifically the exact date of death of Hanna
(Fischer) UNGER. We have no information on date of birth (b.
Frauenkirschen, Austria) or date of death except it is believed she died
circa1928 (+/- 5 yrs) in Frauenkirschen, Austria. Hanna was married to
Avraham Meir UNGER, also of Frauenkirschen, and she gave birth to Rabbi
Siegmund UNGER on 2/22/1883 (d. 2 Nov. 1944) in Frauenkirschen. Could
not find any records >from Frauenkirschen online nor any
cemetery/gravestone info. Guidance on how to proceed to obtain Jewish
records >from Frauenkirschen or any leads much appreciated. Responses
may be sent to dwulkan@comcast.net. Best regards,

Dennis Wulkan

Missing Family Information - Two Galicia Immigrants to Argentina (then Israel) #ukraine

Pnina and Mike Rothenberg

(sorry for prior posting without Subject)

I am researching my EHRLICH family, >from Rava Ruska, Poland (was in Galicia, now in Ukraine). Two nephews of my maternal grandmother migrated, in the early 1900's, to Argentina, possibly via Uruguay. Their names were David EHRLICH AND Pinchas EHRLICH.

David remained in Argentina. Pinchas, also known as "Pinya", later migrated to Israel. He apparently married, had children.

I would appreciate ideas on how to determine the following:

1 - Were David and Pinchas brothers?

2 - What was the first name of their father (or fathers?)

Perhaps Argentine (maybe Uruguay and Israel) immigration records could help answer these questions. I'd be grateful for specific contact information to these sources, and any others you think could be helpful.

Mike Rothenberg

San Jose, California

Researching (with spelling variations) EHRLICH, SILBER, STOCKHAMMER, KASSNER (Rava Ruska, Werchrata, Niemerow, Narol, all Ukraine and Poland), RINKOVSKY (Lentvaris, between Vilna and Trakai, Lithuania)
