discovered that Isaac and Jennie BREGER had a daughter Leah (also
called Lena) who married the Yiddish playwright and novelist Harry

that depends on the family - we have a few in our family and they were always referred to as "mari". the one who was living in israel was called "mari" by the family and "miriam" outside the family.
