Do you have a picture of her grave? That might tell you her father's name. You can ask the cemetery to send you a picture too.
She might have been afraid of saying she was Jewish on the manifest.

I have been asked to try to determine the “value”-historical or otherwise, of several foreign paper currencies, dating from 1880’s-1910’s.
They appear to be Reichmarks, as well as some Polish

Amnon,
There are two possible records to look for.
If the person was born 1870 or later, and was living in the mid-1930's than they could have filled in an SS5 (original Social Security application.)

Today I received from the Vienna Municipal Archives the death certificate (attached). I really cannot make much sense of it. I wonder if anybody here can help me understand it. Thank you.

Seeking Someone to Translate a Yiddish Newspaper Article
#translation
I am hoping to find someone to translate a Yiddish newspaper article from 1932. The article is supposedly about a pogrom in Slovechno, Ukraine in which almost all of my Greenspan family were killed.

In immigrant Jewish communities of that time, and back in the old country, people remarried rather quickly after death of a spouse, even persons who were 60+ years old.
Some more food for thought -
