Thank you, Rose! I searched for but didn’t find his name. However, I see that this database has just under 4,700 names, which is only a fraction of those who served in the International Brigades.

My uncle was in the Abraham Lincoln Brigade, and many years ago I spoke on the phone with Milton Wolf in Berkeley, who had access at that time

I personally think that it may/might have been a typo that might have meant "Ne".
It could have been intended that Marvin was born with the Surname "Fennimore" and its now "Fein".
