My HIMMELHOCH family were not Litvaks, but were Courlanders >from
Latvia. My ggf Ike arrived in the USA in 1870. The rest of the family
followed slowly but surely.
You might check with the archives

My HIMMELHOCH family were not Litvaks, but were Courlanders >from
Latvia. My ggf Ike arrived in the USA in 1870. The rest of the family
followed slowly but surely.
