For those who might not know, there is a website called http://www.whitepages.com
which does reverse address look-ups.
Unfortunately, the address of Mr. Altman is not listed meaning his phone is
unlisted (possibly). However, you could just write to that address and the
addresses next door (would be the next even numbers to his) and ask if they could
pass on your message.

in Israel have submitted pages of testimony for people who are likely to be
relatives of mine. I need someone to look up these people for me and, if they are

should keep this in mind........................

I found both issues as well.

It seemed that when I disabled my Earthlink Accelerator I was able to move freely
from page to page. Whether that was the cure I really don't know. I remember a
computer teacher telling the class that when dealing with the frustration of
computer problems, one kick is remedial, two is abuse.

help! - the witness who signed the page of testimony was a Riwe Leah (EHRENWALD)
STEIN - sister-in-law to the deceased Cipora/Tzipora EHRENWALD - Tzipora's maiden
name was BANK >from Sieniawa, Poland.

The address of Riwe/Leah STEIN was given in 1989 as xxx East 46th Street,
Brooklyn, NY 11203.

If anyone has knowledge of this family or descendants please please contact me.

Thanks to all who immediately responded to my query about problems getting
to a second page of search results on Yad Vashem's online database. It seems
it is a common problem. One responded said Yad Vashem is aware of this
glitch. I guess we just have to be patient for a little while longer for
glitches to be worked out.

In some countries you have to have a civil marriage before you can have
religious marriage.

Sometimes they do it the same day, but very often there are between a few
days uptil a year in between.

In earlier days in Holland it was not uncommon to first have a religieus
marriage and much later (sometimes after some children) they had a civil
marrige and the children had te be legitimated.
